Seattle Floating Homes Market Update August 2012

There are 12 Active Seattle floating homes for sale right now in the NWMLS listings.  These range in price from $265,000 for one in Westlake that I have listed to $3,375,000 for a spectacular architectural wonder on the highly acclaimed and once in a lifetime Fairview Landings dock.  Despite the vast difference in the high and low prices for these Seattle floating homes for sale, the median price for a Seattle floating home is still within the normal range of $652,500 as of today’s stats.

There is one Pending Seattle floating home on the Westlake Cove dock which I found a buyer for.  It is listed for $350,000.  There is one Pending Inspection Seattle floating home over in Portage Bay listed at $539,000.

Recent sales of Seattle floating homes have remained somewhat steady with four of the latest ranging from $485,000 to $2,025,000 and a median price of $518,500.  The average days on market for these was 48 days.  You can see the full CMA print out from the MLS here:  seattle floating homes market 08 2012
